The Bulgarian Society of Biomedical Physics and Engineering (BSBE) was founded in 1971.
In 2011 it was registered as a non-profit legal entity. The Society is a voluntary association of physicists, biophysicists, engineers and other specialists with higher education who work in the field of biomedical physics and engineering.
